THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF GRAHAM & GREEN

The other day I had a very lovely email inviting me down to the grand opening of the new Graham & Green flagship store in Bayswater, west London.

I realise I have been on a bit of a G&G kick lately (their products seem to be a regular occurrence on my Lust Have list) but I can't deny that they are one of my 'Happy Stores'; that is to say their entire stock seems to give me a warm, fuzzy feeling and generally makes everything better.

Anyway, as I was saying, I know I've featured them a lot lately but I couldn't resist the invitation (20% off and a glass of bubbly? Oh, go on then!) so yesterday off I went to a part of London I've never been to bring you the best of what the new store has to offer.  You're welcome.

My new living room!

As I'm (hopefully) moving in to a new flat soon and (this time) I have complete control over the decor and furnishings I have decided to treat myself to a few luxury items and I can't think of a better place to get them.  I had thought that a chaise-longue would be ideal for the bay window until I tried the Snooze sofa.  Unbelievably comfy, I can see it fitting in perfectly - and it comes in a raspberry velvet option! Sold!

Next I would like some side tables please.

Oh, like these Agate ones, with natural stone set in to marble and stood on brass legs. Ok then.

And a footstool/ottoman?  Well, what do you know? The  Klein Ottoman really caught my eye. It's the perfect combination of my favourite Scandi-Boho style finished with a trim of pink tassles! I'm so excited I could burst!

Back in January I shared my tips for the hottest trends for 2016. It's been a slow burner but peacocks are gradually emerging to steal the limelight from those pesky flamingos - *smug face*

My favourite new discovery, though, has to be these tiles:

Ha, fooled you! These are actually PVC mats, printed with a very realistic tile pattern.  What a fantastic way to create a 'tiled' floor without the hassle or expense! They're great for adding a mediterranean vibe, zoning an area or just eating your dinner off (they come in placemat size too!).

From £75 for size 60x100cm.

On second thought, instead of moving all this stuff in to my new flat maybe I could just go and live in the store? I'd feel right at home.
