GET A GRIP!

ÜBER-COOL METALWORK BORN FROM A LOVE OF MOTORCYCLES AND MUSIC, THE LATEST KITCHEN HARDWARE HAS SERIOUS ATTITUDE.  CAN YOU HANDLE IT?

Kitchen designing is one of my favourite pastimes.  I can while away hours on the Ikea planner, trying out different layouts and colour schemes.  One thing I have already decided on though is the handles: when I saw these unusual looking brass designs by London label Buster + Punch it was love at first sight.

When it comes to handles I'm very much a fan of knobs (cue Sid James cackle), as opposed to rods (passé) or finger pulls (crumb collectors).  I particularly like the diamond-cut detail on these, good for extra grip (more cackling).

The back plates are optional and there are various different colour combinations available but I think my favourite is the satin black/steel one shown below.  It's edgy, cool and very rock 'n' roll!

Now I just have to decide on units, worktops, layout, oh and where the kitchen is actually going to go!
